After their summer trip outside the city, the members of the stronghold have finally returned to the city.
It’s almost midnight; the bus trip was longer than they expected. Many of the group members have already gone home. Only a few remain.
Close to the bus stop, a small lake glitters from the beautiful moonlight shining on it.
Kousei: Hey guys, how about we take a stroll there? It looks beautiful and calming.
Marian: Man, it’s so late. We should be heading home.
RaidenClassy: Oh come on, we still have a few days left before our vacation ends. We can stay up tonight.
Scopin: That’s right. Why not spend some time at this lake? I've never been here before, to be honest.
SamuraiSushi: I have been here before, but that was during the day. It looks completely different now.
Reim: Welp, it won't hurt if it’s just a few minutes.
Saki: I want to stay for hours, hehe.
Ryaxx: Hey, guys. Are those…?
He points into the distance. It’s their friends, the ones who didn’t go on the trip.
KING: You guys missed out on a lot of things, bruh. It was hella fun!
Yorifant jolts from the sudden loud voice behind him. Everyone else in that small group of friends looks at the returning group.
LOLIMHUMAN: Oh, you guys are back, huh?
Undergraduate Reader: How was the trip?
Diane smokes her cigarette, looking at the sparkling waters of the lake.
Diane: It was definitely fun, I’m sure. I feel tired from just imagining the energy.
Watcher: Of course. It was refreshing.
Aiko: Man, I regret not going now, haha.
Papers: But we’re having fun here as well.
Raphael: That’s for sure.
Zoro: We planned a small trip ourselves to this lake. Apparently, the sight at night is pretty beautiful.
Pay: Guess who suggested it, hehe.
Archangel: Yes, it was Kami.
Pay: What?! No, it was me!
Kami laughs from afar, sitting on a bench and enjoying the fresh air.
Sentinel: How long have you guys been here now?
Morgan: Not too long. Maybe an hour, I don’t know.
Geppetto: Well, then we can stay for a while and relax a bit. The journey was quite… uh…
Keira: Tiring?
Geppetto: Yeah, that. My brain’s not working from the exhaustion.
Erkhes: Well, you did most of the heavy lifting, organizing this trip and all.
TOUYA: For real, man. Geppetto puts in a lot of work for our enjoyment.
Kakashi: Since we’re all here, why don’t we take a photo together?
Altairen: Sounds like a great idea. We missed you guys when we were taking pictures back at the summer home.
Kousei: Okay, then!
Kousei sets up the camera. The clouds in the night sky clear out, and the stars and moon are now projecting their light at full strength. The cold wind blows.
